Saliba to become Real Madrid’s top target

As per the report, Real Madrid have made the decision to sign Saliba in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The club have been in talks for weeks and now they are certain about the idea of snapping him up once the season ends.

As a matter of fact, Real Madrid have already made Saliba their top defensive target for the summer. This is quite the commitment considering the fact that the club are expected to undergo a busy summer.

Formerly of Saint Etienne, Saliba has enjoyed tremendous success at Arsenal and is a key figure in Mikel Arteta’s defensive scheme.

He could, therefore, be an ideal addition to the Real Madrid central defence, which has struggled due to constant injuries to Eder Militao and David Alaba, who has once again been ruled out due to a fresh knock.

During the talks between the two parties, Real Madrid have already offered Saliba the opportunity to become the leader of the team’s defensive unit in the years to come.

Saliba, for his part, is willing to join Real Madrid. In fact, Los Blancos are the only club he would be willing to join should he leave Arsenal in the coming summer.
