Serie A giants Juventus could sack manager Thiago Motta in the summer, if they fail to finish inside the top four in the Serie A.

Fabiana della Valle has reported today that the Champions League exit has brought about ‘great’ disappointment at Juve, especially considering how they failed to win the Supercoppa Italiana as well.

While the club is currently united behind the manager, things will change in the event of a failure to qualify for the Champions League. The Bianconeri will miss out on money and the ownership believes that it will say everything about Motta’s abilities as a manager.

The club’s business plan was to win silverware and qualify for the top four. The failure to qualify for the Champions League will mean that Juve will not just lose out on money but they will also not be able to attract players. For now, there is sympathy at the club about Motta but things can change quickly.
