Last summer, Paris Saint-Germain showed interest in Dean Huijsen as part of their efforts to strengthen their defense, but the Spanish center-back ultimately joined AFC Bournemouth. If PSG goes after him again, they’ll face stiff competition.

While PSG brought in Willian Pacho as a solid addition, Milan Škriniar is expected to make his loan move to Fenerbahçe permanent, which could lead PSG to seek another center-back this summer.

Huijsen has continued to impress in England, with consistent performances in the Premier League earning him praise. His strong form has now attracted the attention of several top clubs.

Although there’s a transfer race brewing for the young defender, one club kicking themselves over his growth is Juventus.

Juventus are kicking themselves for letting Huijsen go. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Diario AS), the Italian club regrets parting ways with the Spanish center-back, who is now one of the most in-demand players on the market.

He could be on the move this summer for around €60 million, and Juventus sees it as a big mistake to have let him go so soon.

CaughtOffside recently reported, citing sources close to the situation, that top clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and PSG are showing interest in Huijsen.

The 19-year-old, whose release clause is around £50 million, could see that amount increase if he agrees to a new contract with Bournemouth.
