Juventus interested in PSG’s Marco Asensio | OneFootball

According to a report from Foot Mercato, Juventus are interested in Paris Saint-Germain’s Marco Asensio (28) as they look to bolster their attacking options in the upcoming transfer window.

Asensio has seen more consistent game time this season and has been a useful option for the club with the injury to Gonçalo Ramos at the start of the campaign. He has been used primarily as a false nine during his time in the French capital, although he can play on either wing or as the number ten.

The French outlet writes that Asensio’s versatility is attractive to Juventus’ head coach and former PSG player Thiago Motta. The Old Lady could move quickly in the early days of the new year to try and secure the Spanish international on a loan deal with an option to buy.

Foot Mercato states that negotiations between the two clubs will focus primarily on Asensio’s salary. The Spaniard is reported to gross around €10 million per year. Les Parisiens will try to find an agreement for part of his wages to be covered by the Italian club.
