Juventus welcome Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven to the Allianz Stadium for the second time this season with the pair facing off over two legs in a bid to reach the Champions League round of 16.

Juve started their continental campaign by welcoming PSV to Turin back in September, and Thiago Motta's team produced one of their most swashbuckling performances of the season in a 3-1 victory.

The new Bianconeri boss hasn't yet convinced the entirety of a demanding fanbase, with Juve underwhelming in Serie A. A poor end to their league phase campaign saw them slip down to 20th in the table with 12 points from eight games. PSV, on the contrary, rallied after an indifferent start and won four of their final five games. Victory over Liverpool on Matchday 8 saw Peter Bosz's side climb up to 14th.

They were utterly dominant domestically last season and are well in title contention again this term. However, a resurgent Ajax currently lead the division with PSV's form in the new year wavering.

Tuesday's visitors will be keen to secure a positive result in Turin before they welcome Juve to Eindhoven for the return leg next week.

Motta has a few injury concerns heading into Tuesday's first leg.

Pierre Kalulu is yet to return from a muscle issue sustained during Juve's defeat to Benfica on Matchday 8 of the league phase and is unlikely to feature here. Andrea Cambiaso is dealing with an ankle injury, while Arkadiusz Milik is out until March with a calf issue.

Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal are long-term absentees.

Loan arrival Randal Kolo Muani has hit the ground running in Turin and is likely to start having been added to the Bianconeri's Champions League squad for the knockouts. Renato Veiga may also be included in Motta's starting XI.

PSV's primary concerns lie in defence, with Bosz likely to be without Adamo Nagalo and Oliver Boscagli on Tuesday night. Nagalo was forced off during Saturday's draw with Willem II.

Ryan Flamingo should get the nod at the heart of the visitors' defence having served a suspension to end the league phase.

Tyrell Malacia is available after joining the club from Manchester United late in the January window, although Bosz could prefer Mauro Junior at left-back in Turin.

Malik Tillman, Ricardo Pepi, and Richard Ledezma are all out.

PSV predicted lineup vs Juventus (4-2-3-1): Benitez; Karsdorp, Flamingo, Obispo, Junior; Veerman, Schouten; Bakayoko, Til, Lang; De Jong.

Kolo Muani has given Motta's Juve a bit of life, and the Frenchman has a big role to play on his Champions League bow for the club.

Motta is no Massimiliano Allegri, but the Italian could delve into his predecessor's playbook for PSV's visit. The Dutch side are free-flowing and free-scoring, but the absences of Tillman and Pepi could hurt. While a strong end to the league phase saw them qualify for the play-offs, their domestic form has been indifferent and they could outwitted by the Bianconeri on Tuesday.

This is bound to be a tie of fine margins, with Juve poised to take a slender lead into the second leg.
