Kevin De Bruyne has not ruled out staying in the Premier League after he leaves Manchester City this summer.
The six-time Premier League champion confirmed that he will bring an end to his ten-year association with City at the end of this season. Pep Guardiola and sporting director Txiki Begiristain ultimately decided not to hand the 33-year-old a new contract once his deal expires in June, but there is no shortage of suitors for a player still capable of superb performances.
After enjoying a starring role in City's 5-2 comeback thrashing of Crystal Palace on Saturday, De Bruyne was asked whether he would consider joining another Premier League club.
"I don't know," he told Viaplay. "It could be not. It's very hard because the decision of leaving is not been long so nothing can be decided in a week. In the football world I don't think everything comes in a week. It goes very slowly. I've not even seen my family since the announcement."
"Whatever project is available, I'm willing to listen," De Bruyne continued. "I love football. I love to play football and if a a nice projects comes, and my family is good with that then we are able to make a decision."

"It's been a hard year but I've been pain-free for the last six weeks and that makes a massive difference," the prolific creator outlined in a separate interview with TNT Sports. "I've been here so long, my kids were born in Manchester and lived their whole life here. It's going to be different for them. I think they're a bit scared.
"But if I can play football and my family's happy, I'm good. I don't know what will happen next but I want to play on, so let's see where I end up."
Several clubs have been credited with interest in De Bruyne. Saudi second-tier side NEOM SC were thought to be leading the race for the Belgian playmaker until Inter Miami began publicly exploring the option of teaming De Bruyne up with Lionel Messi.
Sky Germany claim that while Miami are "very interested" in securing a deal for City's departing talisman, talks are not advanced and multiple unnamed Saudi Arabian clubs are "dreaming" of a deal for De Bruyne.
