Lens submit offer to sign Bayern Munich’s Daniel Peretz | OneFootball

According to Florian Plettenberg, RC Lens have submitted an official offer to sign Daniel Peretz (24) from Bayern Munich in the January transfer window. The Ligue 1 club have identified the Israeli stopper as their primary target to replace Brice Samba who left the club to join Rennes.

Peretz has recently spent time on the recovery table and has been unavailable for the Bundesliga giants. The Israeli international stopper is expected to be out for an additional period of between 4 – 6 weeks as he recovers from a kidney injury.

Despite the interest shown in his services, Peretz has indicated his preference to stay in Germany. However, this has not deterred Les Sang et Or who have submitted an initial bid. The 24-year-old may be forced to find a new club as Bayern are currently in negotiations to sign Jonas Urbig.
