Lille predicted XI v OGC Nice: Edon Zhegrova out, Gabriel Gudmundsson a doubt | OneFootball

Edon Zhegrova, who has been struggling with a pubis issue for the last month, will once again be absent for Lille OSC as they take on OGC Nice on Friday night.

Whilst the Kosovan, heavily linked with a move to Napoli, is nearing a return for Bruno Genesio’s side, he will not return in time to face Le Gym. The same likely goes for Gabriel Gudmundsson, who received a minor blow during the Coupe de France victory over Olympique de Marseille in midweek. Genesio has emphasised that no risks will be taken with players that are not fully fit, given the hectic calendar and the importance of the upcoming run of games. It is therefore likely that Ismaily will start at left-back whilst Mitchel Bakker will likely start on the right wing.

Jonathan David will lead the line for Lille and there may not be a place in the starting XI for Angel Gomes, who is still working his way back from injury suffered towards the end of 2024.
