According to a report from Foot Mercato, Abdelhamid Ait Boudlal (18) has agreed to join SC Amiens on loan from Stade Rennais.
Negotiations between the two clubs are currently ongoing although not much time is left before the transfer window shuts for the Ligue 2 side to get this deal across the line.
Amiens are not the only team that have been linked to the centre-back. L’Équipe earlier reported that Lille OSC have sent Rennes an undisclosed offer for the teenager, as they look to tempt the club into selling.
The defender only arrived in the summer from the prestigious Mohamed VI Football Academy (the same academy that has launched the careers of Morcocco internationals Nayef Aguerd, Azzedine Ounahi, and Youssef En-Nesyri, among others).
Aït Boudlal signed a contract that would tie him to Rennes until 2028. However, opportunities have not emerged for the centre-back since joining the club.
