Yes, 14 goals in all competitions is respectable, but for a fee exceeding £60 million, should Liverpool not be targeting a proven 20+ goals-a-season forward?

There’s also the issue of FSG’s spending habits. They are known for being cautious in the market, preferring younger players with long-term potential or those who represent clear value. Spending big on Cunha—who is not a traditional No.9 and has never hit elite-level numbers consistently—seems at odds with their usual strategy.
