Liverpool are without Cody Gakpo for their huge Champions League last-16 first-leg clash with Paris Saint-Germain tonight.
The Dutch forward did not join his team-mates for their open training session on Tuesday afternoon, despite recently returning from a two-game absence with a knock that forced him off in the Merseyside derby with cameos off the bench against both Manchester City and Newcastle.
He was named in a 24-man Liverpool squad that headed to the French capital, but he is not involved at all at the Parc des Princes.
As Gakpo misses out, Diogo Jota is chosen to lead the attack for Liverpool against PSG with Luis Diaz out wide.
Liverpool are already missing defenders Conor Bradley and Joe Gomez for the game in Paris.
Bradley is facing a number of weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring injury, while Gomez is out for at least two months after having surgery on his own thigh complaint.
Adding to Slot's thoughts will be the threat of suspension hanging over the heads of Ibrahima Konate, Alexis Mac Allister, Andy Robertson and Harvey Elliott. The quartet are all now one yellow card away from an automatic one-game ban.
They would not have been in Slot’s thinking for this game anyway, but Tyler Morton is also injured and fellow youngster Amara Nallo suspended.
Liverpool XI: Alisson, Van Dijk, Konate, Diaz, Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Salah, Jota, Robertson, Gravenberch, Alexander-Arnold.
Subs: Jaros, Kelleher, Endo, Nunez, Chiesa, Jones, Elliott, Tsimikas, McConnell, Quansah, Nyoni.
