Manchester United drew 1-1 with Chelsea in the Premier League at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Ruud van Nistelrooy made three changes with Andre Onana, Rasmus Hojlund and Noussair Mazraoui coming into the team.
The game did not live up to expectations, with both teams failing to find a spark in the final third.
Bruno Fernandes put United ahead from the spot after Rasmus Hojlund won a penalty.
The game came to life with Moises Caicedo drilling a stunning low shot past Andre Onana to level the scoreline.
United had the better chances during the final few minutes but were let down by their poor finishing.
Andre Onana – 5/10
The Cameroon international was not at his best tonight. His poor decision to play a short pass to Casemiro put United under pressure.
He fumbled the ball while catching a corner kick and could have arguably done better to stop Caicedo’s strike.
Diogo Dalot – 5/10
Dalot struggled to contain the lively Pedro Neto. He got a yellow card for bringing the winger down when the latter succeeded in dribbling past him.
Matthijs de Ligt – 7/10
De Ligt made two crucial blocks to thwart Cole Palmer and effectively kept Nicolas Jackson under wraps throughout the game.
Lisandro Martinez – 6/10
Martinez was solid at the back and smart with his ball distribution. However, he made a poor challenge on Palmer late in the game.
Noussair Mazraoui – 7/10
A standout performance from the full-back. He was defensively superb against Noni Madueke and kept Neto silent when the attacker switched flanks.
Manuel Ugarte – 5/10
The midfielder misplaced three simple passes in the first half. He earned the booking for a tactical foul.
He made four fouls in the second half, which forced Van Nistelrooy to replace him with Victor Lindelof.
Casemiro – 7/10
Another positive performance from Casemiro. He played a delightful pass to Hojlund which helped United win the penalty.
He earned a booking to stop Chelsea’s attack after Garnacho lost the ball and showed leadership by offering some harsh words to the Argentine.
Bruno Fernandes – 6/10
Fernandes delivered an inch-perfect crossfield pass to Rashford at the end of the first half. He was visibly emotional after scoring his first Premier League goal of the season from the spot.
Alejandro Garnacho – 4/10
Garnacho was a frustrated figure all evening. He made a mess of a great chance set up by Fernandes in the second half. He had the opportunity to score the winner but failed to hit the target.
Marcus Rashford – 6/10
The England international showed great technique in hitting the volley, but it struck the bar.
He outshone Garnacho but still was taken off for Amad Diallo.
Rasmus Hojlund – 5/10
The 21-year-old delayed two through passes for Garnacho, which drew ire from the crowd. He won the penalty with his first touch in Chelsea’s penalty box.
Amad Diallo – 5/10
His performances continue to fall short of expectations.
Joshua Zirkzee – N/A
