Man United star to seal La Liga switch on Friday | OneFootball

Manchester United star Antony is set to make the trip to Spain to put pen to paper on terms with Real Betis later today.

That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who has on Friday afternoon provided the latest on the status of the move.

The name of attacker Antony has of course taken its place front and centre in the media chatter in Spain over the course of the last week.

This comes after word was forthcoming that the Brazilian – amid another difficult season to date at Old Trafford – had been earmarked as a leading January target on the part of the aforementioned Real Betis.

Negotiations, in turn, were kicked into gear over a deal, with Man United having shown little hesitance in opening the door to a loan departure for Antony.

And, as alluded to above, on Friday, the transfer looks all set to be completed.

As per a report from Fabrizio Romano:

‘Here we go confirmed: Antony travels to Sevilla tonight in order to join Real Betis from Man United! Green light after documents approved, loan move until June with no buy clause; salary shared.’
