Viktor Gyokeres is set to be a man in demand in the summer transfer window of 2025 following his excellent form for Sporting CP.
The 26-year-old Swedish international has already registered on the radars of FC Barcelona, who see him as one of the options to replace veteran superstar Robert Lewandowski in the long run.
There has even been talk of the Blaugrana coming up with a formula wherein they sign Gyokeres next summer and let him continue at Sporting for one more year before arriving in Catalonia.
However, a move for Gyokeres, who has 24 goals and four assists in 21 games this season, could become difficult to pull off for Barcelona as several top Premier League clubs are also interested in the striker.
Indeed, as per Sky Germany (h/t AS), Premier League champions Manchester City are interested in the Sporting CP striker, along with their local rivals Manchester United.
Down in London, Arsenal are also monitoring the 26-year-old Swede while there is also tentative interest from Chelsea.

Man City, with Hugo Viana as their new director, are keen on Gyokeres as competition for Erling Haaland after not replacing Julian Alvarez last summer.
Meanwhile, Man United want to reunite the striker with new manager Ruben Amorim after the pair enjoyed great success at Sporting.
As for Arsenal and Chelsea, they too are looking for a more reliable goalscorer with consistent output, leading them to Gyokeres.
This certainly complicates the picture for Barcelona while the financial aspects of the operation would also be a challenge as Sporting are demanding €100 million for their ace goalscorer.
However, there is a belief that the Portuguese giants could sanction a sale for a lesser fee worth around €70 million.
Whether Barcelona make a move for the Swede, look for alternatives, or decide to count on Lewandowski for one more season will be interesting to see.
