Manchester City will face PSG in a critical UEFA Champions League league phase tomorrow night. It’s a must-win game for Pep Guardiola’s side as they aim to pick up a victory that will help ensure they finish in the top 24 of the league phase standings. A top-24 finish would ensure that they qualify for the knockout stage of the competition.
There were several notable absentees from City’s travelling squad for tomorrow night’s match. The world champions travelling squad was named on mancity.com. Jeremy Doku was the surprise omission from the Manchester City travelling party. He joins Rodri, Nathan Ake, Kyle Walker and Oscar Bobb as players who will all miss tomorrow night’s match. John Stones has travelled with the City squad which indicates that he is almost ready to return from injury.
A host of City defenders failed to appear at Manchester City training earlier today. Ruben Dias, Manuel Akanji, Rico Lewis, Matheus Nunes and Josko Gvardiol all weren’t seen training earlier today. But they have travelled to Paris which indicates that they are available for tomorrow night’s match.
New Vitor Reis and Abdukodir Khusanov are both ineligible for tomorrow night’s match. The full Manchester City travelling squad can be seen below.
