The Villans have their next game lined up against Chelsea at home this weekend. It will be another important game for Unai Emery’s side. However, they have all the resources and talent to overpower the Blues to bag vital points.

Defence

Emi Martinez had a mixed performance against the Reds and will be seen donning the gloves once again. Right-back Andres Garcia might find himself lucky to be retained this time but he needs to prove himself.

As Axel Disasi cannot face his parent club, Tyrone Mings will have a new partner at the heart of the defence. Ezri Konsa is likely to return from injury and fill the vacant position. Lucas Digne could be making way for Ian Maatsen at the left-back spot.

Midfield

The midfield duo of John McGinn and Youri Tielemans has worked fine for Unai Emery. With no reason to change anything, the manager is likely to deploy the duo in the middle of the park yet again.

Morgan Rogers is again operating on the right flank while Marcus Rashford trying to impact the game from the other side of the pitch. Marco Asensio is playing in the centre as the attacking midfielder.

Without any surprise, Ollie Watkins leads the attacking line yet again and will be desperate to find the back of the net.

Leon Bailey and Ross Barkley could also mark their returns while Amadou Onana still needs some time to return to action.
