Marcus Rashford was part of the Manchester United squad that arrived at Old Trafford for Monday's meeting with Newcastle United.
Rashford has not represented United in 18 days, missing out on the last four matchday squads after leaving new head coach Ruben Amorim unimpressed behind the scenes.
However, he was spotted arriving at Old Trafford with the rest of the United squad for Monday's game, suggesting he will make his return to the matchday squad to face Newcastle.
Amorim has long insisted that the door has never been closed to Rashford, challenging the forward to step up behind the scenes and work harder to lead United out of their current slump.
United are thin on the ground for the Newcastle game, particularly in attacking midfield, where captain Bruno Fernandes is suspended after being shown a red card last time out. He joins the injured Mason Mount on the sidelines.
Manuel Ugarte is also serving a one-game ban for racking up five yellow cards, while defenders Luke Shaw and Victor Lindelof are both out injured.
16-year-old centre-back Godwill Kukonki was also spotted arriving with Amorim's squad, having previously been named on the bench against Arsenal earlier in December.
