Roma attacker Matías Soulé spoke to Idealista about his first season at Roma.

The Argentine was asked about life at the capital club, his relationship with the fans and life in the locker room.

“The welcome I received from the fans surprised me a lot and I didn’t expect it. I really wanted to come to this club,” said the ex-Frosinone player.

“There are not many differences between how football is experienced here and in Argentina. I think they are very similar in the way fans follow football, because there is a lot of passion.”

“The most remarkable moment so far? Shomurodov’s goal against Athletic Bilbao, in the last second. It was a very beautiful thing to win that match, in that packed stadium, full of flags, after that wonderful scenery. I had never seen anything like it in my career. And then, our Olimpico is always full.”

“Paredes and Dybala? The relationship with the two of them is beautiful. We have known each other since before I came to Roma. We spend many hours together here in Trigoria and even off the pitch we share a lot of time together.”
