Liverpool appear to really be losing the star talents of Mohamed Salah next season.
The Egyptian forward sat down for an exclusive interview with Sky Sports on Friday to reiterate this will likely be his last season playing for the Anfield faithful as he enters the final six months of his contract.
But he is keen to make it clear that the pressure surrounding his future isn't deterring him from his main goal this season: winning the Premier League.
"So far, yes. [I believe] it's the last six months. There is no progress there. We are far away from any progress. So, we just need to wait and see," he said.
"The thing in my head is that if this is the last six months, what do you want to see in the future?
"Do you want to look back and say I was concerned or stressed about the contract? Or do you just want to say I had an unbelievable season? That's what is in my head.
"If I ever feel distraction, I just remind myself I want to look back and say I had an unbelievable season. That's what I want to do."

That unbelievable season begins with lifting another Premier League title, something the Egyptian has only done once with Liverpool.
"In my interviews over the last seven or eight years, I always say [I want to win the] Champions League. But this is the first time I'm saying I really want to win the Premier League with Liverpool."
"I have no idea [why]. It's probably because we didn't celebrate the one we won in the way we wanted and also, coming back here too, it's my last year in the club so you want to do something special for the city.
"We waited for that title for 30 years or so. So, to win it and it was the pandemic at that time, we didn't really have time to celebrate it in the right way. It's not a nice thing to do, so hopefully we can do it this year."
Salah added that he is not the only Liverpool star who dreams of another title before eventually leaving the club. Additionally, he believes his stellar individual form won't carry as much weight if the team isn't collectively rewarded for their hard work by the end of 2024-25.
"I still believe the team needs a trophy. There is still half of the team left like me, Trent [Alexander-Arnold], Virgil [Van Dijk], Alisson, Robbo [Andy Robertson]," he said. "It's necessary for us to win another trophy before we all go."
"I work really hard and when you work so hard you expect the best out of yourself. I always look to put myself really high so I expected high things from myself.
"I am very proud to see the numbers but you just have to forget it and stay humble.
"I don't want to get to the end of the season and say I had unbelievable numbers but the team didn't win anything. I just want to win the trophy and have the big numbers.
"Arsenal are catching us. Chelsea are catching us. Man City will come back for sure. It's very tricky but we just have to stay focused, don't take it for granted and keep working hard. Hopefully we'll win it in the end."
Liverpool currently sit top of the table with a six point lead over Arsenal.
