Monza have been pushing to sign Inter defender Tomas Palacios.

The 22-year-old has barely featured for Inter over the first half of the season.

The Nerazzurri signed Palacios last summer. They signed him to bolster their defense in the future, rather than in the present.

Therefore, a loan away could give the Argentine the opportunity to get more playing time.

Monza & Inter Milan Agree Terms On Tomas Palacios Loan

According to the Corriere, Monza have already found an agreement with Inter.

The Brianzoli are ready to sign Palacios on a half-season loan deal. This would simply be a dry loan with no purchase option.

However, the Corriere report, Palacios has not made his decision yet.

It will be up to the player to consider whether he wants to join Monza for the remainder of the campaign.

And in the meantime, Bayer Leverkusen have also come forward with an interest in Palacios’s signature.

Therefore, that could very well present a big hitch in Monza’s efforts to sign Palacios.
