Mourinho to Bove’s family: “I’m with you.”

Former Roma boss Jose Mourinho was one of the many people to reach out to Edoardo Bove and his family.

The Portuguese technician – in large part responsible for launching Bove’s senior career with Roma’s first team – called the player’s family as soon as the news broke out of the player’s stable condition following the health scare on Sunday.

According to Leggo, Mourinho got in touch not directly with him but with the family, who are always close to the footballer and said something to the effect of, “I’m with you.”

The Special One and Bove had always been very close and will continue to share an important bond as the 22-year-old begins his road to recovery.
