This evening, following the UEFA draws earlier today, Lega Serie A announced the dates and times for rounds 24-26. Furthermore, the date and time have finally been set for AC Milan’s postponed game against Bologna.
Milan’s clash against the Rossoblu was initially scheduled for mid-October, but ended up being postponed due to supposed poor weather (it was sunny that day, funnily enough). Since then, it has been a battle to find a new slot for the game due to the packed schedule.
Things didn’t get any better as the Rossonmeri missed out on a top 8 finish in the Champions League mid-week, adding another two games for them against Feyenoord. In any case, as announced by Lega Serie A (via AC Milan), the schedule has now been confirmed.
It’s clear that Sergio Conceicao will continue to have a very tight schedule with Milan, having had three consecutive mid-week games already (and that tally will rise to six by the end of February). A difficult situation for any coach.
