Roma ensured that their unbeaten run in Serie A remained intact with a statement 4-0 victory over strugglers Monza on Monday night, which means that the Giallorossi are currently the second best performing team in Europe’s top five leagues in terms of points won in 2025.

Roma have not lost in Serie A since a 2-0 defeat by Como at the Sinigaglia on December 15.

They have been particularly impressive this calendar year, picking up six wins and two draws for a tally of 20 points since the beginning of January. Only Vincent Kompany’s Bayern Munich have earned more points than the Giallorossi this year (22 points, seven wins and one draw)

Roma’s current league form is better than the league leaders in four out of Europe’s top five leagues: Liverpool and PSG both have 19 points so far, while Real Madrid and Inter both have 17.

The Giallorossi are also top of the Serie A form guide over the last 10 matches, with 24 points earned from a maximum of 30 over that period. Napoli and Juventus both have 21 points from their last 10 league matches, Inter have 20, Milan 18 and Atalanta 17.
