Player Chelsea signed in 2023 with just 2 appearances now going back to his old club

One Chelsea player who has earned just two league appearances at the club since joining in 2023, now looks to be heading back to his old club.

I guess this is very much a sign of the times at Chelsea. They sign up all the talented young players, probably sell them all the dreams and fake promises, and then they soon realise that they actually don’t have much chance of making it at Chelsea due to the hundreds of stockpiling of players they are already doing there and they aren’t getting the game time they expected. Then they ask for a move away. That is pretty much happening with a bunch of players right now, even high profile names such as Joao Felix, as well as Christopher Nkunku, although he looks like he will be lucky now to get his move away if Felix is going as well.

Sources: Chelsea considering late move for PL striker who isn’t Liam Delap!!

What an absolute shambles by Chelsea. Truly embarrassing way to run our beautiful club.

Striker Deivid Washington arrived from Santos in 2023, and he has played just two league games in the senior team. I’m sure we all heard about how he was going to be the next biggest thing when he arrived, and maybe he still will be. But for now, he’s heading back home.

Washington back to Santos

Deivid Washington in action for Chelsea.

Globo in Brazil are reporting that Santos have now reached an agreement with Chelsea for Deivid Washington on loan and will pay his full salary. The player had shown a desire to go back to Santos.

I have a prediction for this one, I bet he either stays at Santos come the summer and they either sign him or loan him for another season, or another club comes in and Chelsea agree to sell him. I don’t believe he will ever play for Chelsea again.
