Ange Postecoglou has eased the injury concerns for both James Maddison and Dominic Solanke after the Spurs pair were taken off in the 3-1 win over Bodo/Glimt.
Goals from Brennan Johnson, Maddison and Solanke from the penalty spot ensured Tottenham take a lead to Norway in the second leg of their Europa League semi-final.
But there were concerns over Maddison and Solanke with both going off in the second half after sustaining injuries.
Tottenham boss Postecoglou, however, does not think they are anything serious.
“Madders felt a tweak in his knee but it doesn’t sound like it’s anything serious and Dom similarly in his quad but both of them felt it wasn’t anything too significant but I thought it was wise just to take them off at that point,” he said after the game.
Richarlison was also taken off at half-time after starting the game but Postecoglou says it was not because of an injury.
“Richarlison wasn’t injured, it was just a tactical thing,” he said. “He did a great job for us in the first half, exactly what we needed him to do, and we thought the game would open up for him in the second half and we got Mathys (Tel) on for that.”
Lucas Bergvall missed the game entirely after sustaining an ankle injury in training and Postecoglou is unsure whether he will be back before the season ends.
“It’s too early assess,” he said. “It’s just the way our season has gone unfortunately.
“It’s hugely disappointing for Lucas. He was obviously really excited and he’d had a big week, re-signing for the club. He’s had such a great year for us but it’s just the way our season has gone where we’re training and something innocuous like that ends up with him hurting his ankle.
“We’ll assess it over the next few days, let it settle down, and find out the extent of it.”
On a positive note, Postecoglou was delighted with the performance of his players in the victory, adding: “I think we’re in a good position. I thought the players were outstanding today. I thought the performance was everything we needed it to be.
“Obviously they scored the goal late which I think doesn’t reflect our dominance in the game but if we repeat that performance next week it will be enough for us to get through.”
