Leeds United will be looking to continue their rich vein of form as they welcome Cardiff City to Elland Road in Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship clash.

Currently sitting at the top of the league standings, the Whites picked up an important point in Monday’s goalless draw away at Burnley.

That stalemate at Turf Moor followed impressive back-to-back victories on home soil, starting with an emphatic 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday, thanks to goals from Manor Solomon, Largie Ramazani and Ao Tanaka.

Winger Solomon was again on target next up for Daniel Farke’s side, netting inside the opening minute against Norwich City, before Dan James sealed proceedings in the second half.

Leeds sit three points clear of third-placed Burnley at the summit of the table, whilst Cardiff find themselves 18th, after an upturn in form under boss Omer Riza has seen the Bluebirds pull away from the relegation zone.

Last time out, goals from top scorer Callum Robinson and experienced attacker Anwar El Ghazi ensured City edged past Derby County in South Wales.

The two sides have already met once this campaign, with Ramazani and Joël Piroe on target for United in a 2-0 victory away from home.

Action from Elland Road gets underway at 3pm.
