According to an update from SPORT, it has come to light that Real Madrid defender Lucas Vazquez is at a crossroads in his career, with multiple offers from clubs in Saudi Arabia, Major League Soccer (MLS), and Spain.

The experienced right-back has attracted significant interest as his time with Los Blancos could be nearing its end, with his contract running out in June.

Vazquez has been a key member of Real Madrid’s squad for a decade, making him one of the few academy graduates still playing for the first team.

However, with Real Madrid actively seeking younger alternatives for the right-back position, such as Trent Alexander-Arnold, his future at the club is now uncertain.

Tempting offers from Saudi Arabia and MLS

One of the strongest offers for Vazquez comes from Saudi Arabia, where former Real Madrid defender Nacho Fernandez has reportedly encouraged him to join Al Qadsiah.

The Saudi club is prepared to offer a lucrative two-year contract with a salary higher than what he currently earns at Real Madrid. This proposal is an enticing option, especially considering the financial security it would provide.

Meanwhile, MLS clubs have been interested in securing his services for the past two years.

The idea of playing in North America is appealing to Vazquez, as it would present a fresh challenge in a league that continues to grow in prominence.

Spanish clubs also in the race

Despite foreign interest, several Spanish teams have not given up on signing Vazquez. His former club, Espanyol, along with Mallorca, are keen to bring him back to La Liga.

If Vazquez does decide to leave Real Madrid, his preference appears to be moving abroad, following in the footsteps of players like Nacho and Joselu.

While Spanish clubs remain interested, he seems more inclined toward exploring new opportunities rather than continuing in La Liga.

With multiple offers on the table, the decision ultimately rests on whether Real Madrid will part ways with him. If the club chooses to move on, Vazquez will have no shortage of options to continue.
