Jude Bellingham enjoyed an absolute dream debut season at Real Madrid as he went on to win the La Liga title, the UEFA Champions League, and the Spanish Super Cup.

The 21-year-old also racked up a tally of 23 goals and 13 assists from 43 games and finished third in the Ballon d’Or rankings, behind Rodri and Vinicius Jr.

After a rather subdued start to the 2024/25 season, Bellingham has once again picked up form in recent weeks and now has seven goals and six assists in 21 matches with two more trophies added to his cabinet.

A contract improvement on the cards?

Given how he has established himself as an extremely vital cog in the team, AS reports that Jude Bellingham may see his contract be adjusted so that he is on the same level as the likes of Vinicius Jr. and Kylian Mbappe.

As reported earlier, Vinicius is now the highest-paid player at the club as the wages for the final two years of his contract have risen to €20 million per season net following his FIFA The Best Men’s Player of the Year award triumph.

Meanwhile, Mbappe earns around €15 million per season net base salary, although he also receives a significant bonus.

As for Bellingham, who signed a contract until 2029 when he joined in 2023, he is said to earn approximately €9 million net.

But considering his contributions in a very short period, there is a possibility that Real Madrid will look to improve his contract in the near future, as per the report.

For now, though, Los Blancos will begin negotiations over a new deal for Vinicius, whose current contract runs out in 2027. After that, extensions with pay rise for Bellingham and Mbappe will likely be explored.
