Real Madrid to submit new transfer offer next week | OneFootball

The board at La Liga giants Real Madrid are readying a fresh assault on the signature of Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold.

That’s according to Marca, who have on Saturday provided a fresh insight into the situation.

The name of defender Alexander-Arnold has of course dominated the headlines in Spain’s capital for several weeks now.

This comes after widespread confirmation was forthcoming that Real Madrid had moved their planned summer swoop for the England international forward to January.

Los Blancos, in fact, even went as far as to table an opening offer for his signature.

As much was rejected without so much as a 2nd thought on the part of Liverpool, who have since moved to make clear that Alexander-Arnold is not available this month.

But, evidently, this has not proven enough to ward off the Spanish champions entirely.

As per a report from Marca:

‘Real Madrid are not giving up and next week there will be a new attempt by the white club to reach an agreement for the transfer of the full-back.’
