World number two tennis star Carlos Alcaraz may be dominating the courts, but when it comes to football, his heart firmly belongs to Real Madrid.
Despite the club’s recent Champions League setback, Alcaraz remains a loyal supporter, showing strong backing for Los Blancos even in tough times.
Real Madrid were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League after a heavy 1-5 loss on aggregate to Arsenal. For Alcaraz, the defeat was hard to digest. “It was complicated. It was a tough night for madridismo,” he admitted.
The young tennis talent confessed that the result affected his mood, showing just how deeply connected he feels to the club.
“I even felt a bit down, but we knew it was difficult, that it was a complicated tie,” he added, reflecting the shared emotions of Real Madrid fans around the world.

Still, the tennis sensation has already moved forward, shifting his focus to his own career while keeping his passion for the club alive.
“Thank goodness that today I have already forgotten it, focused on my own,” he shared.
Even with Barcelona enjoying a strong run in all competitions, Alcaraz did not hesitate to stand behind Real Madrid. When asked about Barça’s recent form, he acknowledged their level of play but made his loyalty clear.
“I am loyal to Madrid, I love watching Madrid,” he said. While he admitted that Barcelona are currently playing well, he didn’t show any sign of switching sides.
“Obviously, I know a little football and Barcelona is at a great level, they can win whatever they want, but I will continue to encourage Madrid and I trust that they can win the league and the Cup,” he added.
