Title-bidding Inter Milan will take on Serie A top-four hopefuls Fiorentina without Denzel Dumfries next Monday.
According to FCInterNews, the Dutchman picked up a disqualifying yellow card in Sunday’s Milan derby.
Denzel Dumfries has hit a purple patch at the San Siro this season.
Indeed, after battling Matteo Darmian for a place in the starting lineup last term, he has nailed down a right-wingback role as his own.
Furthermore, the Dutch star has been one of the most prolific defenders in Europe’s top-five leagues in 2024/25.
He has tallied a remarkable six goals in Serie A so far. That makes him the club’s third most efficient player.
Fiorentina will host Inter for the postponed Serie A fixture this Thursday.
Dumfries will be part of Simone Inzaghi’s traveling squad. However, he won’t be at Inzaghi’s disposal next week.

In the meantime, Alessandro Bastoni is also at risk of picking up a suspension.
Indeed, the Italian defender is one game away from earning a one-game ban.
Meanwhile, Fiorentina will be without prodigious center-back Pietro Comuzzo when they roll into two next Monday.
