Roma appear to have decided on their strategy with regards to Paulo Dybala’s future.
Despite rumors of a move away from the Italian capital, Paulo Dybala seems destined to continue his spell with Roma.
According to today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport, the Giallorossi have decided to keep the Argentine striker, giving up possible transfers to both Turkey and Saudi Arabia, and changing the initial strategy that included selling the player in January.
At the start of the season, Roma had considered the option of selling Dybala to lighten the wage bill, evaluating offers from the Arab market and other destinations.
However, the lack of concrete negotiations has pushed the management to change its approach.
The new priority seems to be the renewal of the contract, with the possibility of extending the agreement until 2027.
This solution, which would include a deferred salary, would allow the club to guarantee the permanence of one of the most talented and representative players in the squad.
