The incoming manager has spoken for the first time since his imminent move was confirmed
Ruben Amorim has sent Manchester United fans a message after being announced as the club's new permanent manager.
Amorim has signed a deal running until June 2027, with the option for a further year, after a £10.6m fee was agreed with Sporting CP for their head coach.
The Portuguese will remain with Sporting for the next 10 days until taking over at Old Trafford on November 11, for the start of the international break.
Amorim, who took charge of Sporting on Friday night, has broken his silence since his appointment with a message to United supporters.
