Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim revealed that summer arrival Leny Yoro could be included in the squad which travels to Arsenal on Wednesday night.
The £52m recruit from Lille was bought by Erik ten Hag but never played for the Dutch coach or his interim successor Ruud van Nistelrooy after damaging his foot during pre-season. After undergoing surgery in August, Yoro made a belated return to first-team training during Amorim's first session in November.
Yoro is still waiting for his competitive debut in a United shirt, but the Portuguese coach hinted that his long wait may be over this midweek.
"Maybe Leny Yoro will be with the squad, he is in a good moment and his fitness will be better," Amorim told the assembled media at his press conference on Monday.

"He is a special talent, we have to be careful in this first moment," the 39-year-old head coach added. "We didn't have many training sessions together, he is really fast, a modern defender, that is good when you want to press high and you leave strikers one against one, he can manage that.
"He is really good with the ball, I am really excited, I have to be careful to manage his load, but I am really excited to see him playing."
In more good news for United fans, Amorim also dismissed any injury concerns that loomed over his captain Bruno Fernandes. The incoming boss confirmed that the divisive playmaker "is fit to play" at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday after being pictured with an ice pack on his ankle after coming off in the 4-0 thumping of Everton on Sunday.
United will be without both midfielder Kobbie Mainoo and - most pertinently in the case of Yoro - centre-back Lisandro Martinez after the pair picked up suspension-inducing bookings on the weekend.
