Sergio Ramos has become a hot topic at Real Madrid following Eder Militao’s long-term ACL injury, which has ruled him out for the entirety of the season.

Militao’s injury has left Carlo Ancelotti with Antonio Rudiger as the ideal reliable option at centre-back. Therefore, bringing in new faces could be the need of the hour.

That is where Ramos has come into the fray. Many personalities, including former Real Madrid player Guti, have already urged the club to bring in the veteran Spaniard, who can join the team immediately.

Sergio Ramos has liked a post on social media, which shared Guti’s quote about him and how he could be a good signing for Real Madrid.

“I’d go for Sergio Ramos at Real Madrid right now. It would cost zero euros,” Guti said, to which Ramos appeared to have given his approval.

Ramos’ hint on social media comes shortly after reports revealing how the defender has offered himself to Real Madrid and is open to rejoining the club.

Real Madrid do not want to re-sign Ramos

However, Real Madrid themselves are not too keen on the idea of bringing back their former defensive leader.

It appears the club do not see the Spaniard as a viable option due to his age and current form. It must be noted that Ramos hasn’t played any football since leaving Sevilla in the summer.

Moreover, Real Madrid may block Ramos’ arrival as the defender has a strained relationship with the club president, Florentino Perez.
