Sunderland have reached the Championship play-off final after a dramatic 3-2 aggregate win over Coventry City.
Scorers: Ballard 120+3'; Mason-Clark 75'
Ephron Mason-Clark broke the deadlock in the 75th minute by stabbing home from Milan van Ewijk's cross to pull the visitors level and send the tie into extra time.
Another 30 minutes failed to separate the sides with the best opening falling to the Black Cats' Romaine Mundle, who saw his goal-bound shot blocked by Josh Eccles.
But deep into added time, Dan Ballard pounced to power home Enzo Le Fée's left-sided corner to spark scenes of pandemonium inside the Stadium of Light.
Régis Le Bris' side will now take on Sheffield United at Wembley on 24 May to determine who will be the final team promoted to the Premier League.
