Svilar ‘very close’ to contract renewal with Roma | OneFootball

Mile Svilar is expected to renew his contract with Roma after lengthy negotiations with the capital club.

After a strong growing season and the attention of numerous top European clubs, the Giallorossi want to close the negotiation for the renewal of the Serbian goalkeeper’s contract as soon as possible.

According to Il Messaggero, a meeting between the player’s agent and Florent Ghisolfi is expected in the next few days, with Roma already raising the offer to 3 million euros plus bonuses. A concrete sign of the club’s willingness to focus heavily on the former Benfica player.

At the moment the parties have not yet reached a final agreement, but there is optimism. Roma are yet to resolve the player’s request for a release clause: Svilar’s entourage are pushing to include her in the contract, while the Giallorossi management evaluates with caution.
