Instead of travelling early with the team, Laporta met with the players at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. During this urgent meeting, he offered reassurances and laid out the club’s legal strategy to resolve the registration issues.

This gesture from Laporta appeared to ease tensions, as both Olmo and Victor were said to appreciate the president’s efforts.
