Tottenham Hotspur’s transfer window has been filled with speculation, from potential signings to departures.
Will Lankshear is reportedly set for a Championship loan move, while the club continues to pursue a late deal for Fikayo Tomori before the deadline.
However, the biggest talking point remains Mathys Tel’s decision to reject a move to North London, raising further concerns about the club’s recruitment strategy.
Beyond transfers, questions are now being asked about the future of manager Ange Postecoglou.
Despite a promising start to the season, recent struggles have led to speculation over his long-term prospects.
While he is expected to remain in charge for the second leg of the Carabao Cup semifinal against Liverpool, reports suggest Spurs are already exploring potential alternatives should results fail to improve.
One Bundesliga coach has now emerged as a serious option for Tottenham, adding another layer of intrigue to an already uncertain situation.

According to journalist Dean Jones, former Borussia Dortmund manager Edin Terzic is on Tottenham’s radar as a ‘genuine option’ should Postecoglou’s tenure come to an end.
Terzic, who led Dortmund to a Champions League final and competed at the highest level in the Bundesliga, has been out of work since leaving the German club last summer.
Speaking to GiveMeSport, Jones stated: “Edin Terzic’s success at Borussia Dortmund, including guiding them to a Champions League final, has not gone unnoticed. Recently, he was considered for the West Ham United job, and the German tactician is seen as a genuine option for Tottenham, offering the potential for long-term growth.”
While Terzic’s record in Germany is impressive, his tactical philosophy differs significantly from Postecoglou’s.
The former Dortmund boss has been criticised for a pragmatic approach, often relying on direct play rather than a possession-based system.
If Spurs were to pursue him, it could mean another major squad rebuild to align with his methods, raising concerns over the club’s long-term vision.
While results have dipped, Postecoglou should not be the scapegoat for Tottenham’s struggles.
Injuries to key players have disrupted the squad, and the club’s recruitment issues fall largely on chairman Daniel Levy.
Dismissing Postecoglou at this stage would be premature, especially considering the progress made earlier in the season.
