United now interested in 22yo Spanish winger with 10 goal contributions, can be signed for £16.7m – report | OneFootball

Manchester United are one of many European clubs monitoring the progress of Deportivo La Coruna winger Yeremay Hernandez.

The 22-year-old has had a good season for Deportivo in La Liga 2. He has accumulated seven goals and three assists from 17 appearances.

His performances have grabbed the attention of several European teams including the Red Devils, according to La Opinion de A Coruna (page 35).

Deportivo are not actively looking to sell the Spaniard this winter and they won’t accept less than his £16.7 million release clause for a transfer.

Interested clubs will also need to convince the left-sided winger, who is happy to stay at Deportivo and wants to repay the faith shown by them.

United may not make winter approach for Hernandez

Hernandez has had a productive campaign in La Liga 2 with 10 goal involvements. His progress has seen him represent Spain at the Under-21 level.

Aside from his goal contributions, the attacker has also impressed with his duel-winning ability and dribbling skills. He has likewise caught the eye with his ball recoveries.

The Spaniard has definitely enhanced his reputation with Deportivo this term, but we don’t see the prospect of United spending on his services before the deadline.

United are open to parting ways with Marcus Rashford this winter. Manager Ruben Amorim would ideally want an upgrade if the hierarchy look for a potential successor.

The Red Devils are keen on Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, but a deal appears unlikely on the cards with Paris Saint-Germain advancing with a £67 million transfer offer.

The club could explore a loan signing amid concerns over breaching PSR spending limits. There is reportedly interest in Paris Saint-Germain star Randal Kolo Muani.
