Verona’s Zanetti previews Roma clash: “Ranieri is a living legend.” | OneFootball

Hellas Verona coach Paolo Zanetti previewed Saturday’s match against Roma.

Earlier today, the Italian coach spoke to reporters in his pre-match presser.

“I will have the honor of meeting Ranieri because I have never faced him before,” said Zanetti of his next opponent.

“He is a living legend for those who do this job. Obviously it is sad that he is retiring, but he is doing something incredible this year too. Even off the pitch he is a man of extraordinary gallantry.”

“Roma has extraordinary players, in addition to having a champion on the bench. Since Ranieri arrived they would be in second place, we have to think about ourselves.”

“We must remain solid, aware of our opponent’s strengths but also dare to hurt them,” he added.
