Kenan Yildiz took just 20 minutes to open the scoring for Juventus in their Supercoppa Italiana semi-final against Milan on Friday evening, capitalising on a poor piece of defending from Rossoneri full-back Theo Hernandez.

Yildiz was not expected to start against Milan on Friday evening, but was drafted in as a last minute replacement for Francisco Conceicao, who pulled up with an injury in the warm-up ahead of his father’s first game in charge of the Rossoneri.

Playing in an unfavoured position on the right wing, Yildiz received a nicely-weighted through ball from Samuel Mbangula, which completely caught Theo Hernandez. The Turk made no mistake in thumping a venomous effort past Mike Maignan at his near post.
