Real Madrid stars Vinícius Jr. and Jude Bellingham have on Friday taken to social media, to send messages of well wishes to teammate Kylian Mbappé.

This comes with the Frenchman celebrating his 26th birthday.

Frontman Mbappé of course finds himself in the midst of what has proven something of a tumultuous year to date.

After sealing his long-awaited move to Spain with Real Madrid in a drama-filled free agent exit from Paris Saint-Germain over the summer, the attacker has since gone on to endure something of a hit-and-miss time of things.

Though his haul of 13 goals and three assists across all competitions to date is a respectable one, Mbappé’s overall performances have too often left a lot to be desired.

Amid ongoing fan backlash and criticism from the media, on Friday, two of the one-time Monaco star’s teammates have therefore moved to show their support for Mbappé.

Taking to their respective Instagram accounts, Vinícius Jr. and Jude Bellingham unveiled happy birthday wishes to Mbappé, who turned 26 upon the clock striking midnight last night:
