‘We can trust them’ – Carlo Ancelotti praises two seldom-used Real Madrid stars | OneFootball

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has moved to reveal his appreciation for the efforts of two of the lesser-seen members of his squad.

This comes owing to their respective performances in Real’s meeting with Leganés on Sunday.

Los Blancos are of course fresh off a dominant victory last night, which saw all of Kylian Mbappé, Federico Valverde and Jude Bellingham find the net in a 3-0 downing of Leganés.

Amid an ongoing injury crisis, the Spanish champions were forced to field a new-look XI for the clash, featuring the likes of Raúl Asencio, Dani Ceballos, and Arda Güler.

And it was the latter two of this trio whom Carlo Ancelotti reserved deserved praise for post-match.

Speaking to the media in the aftermath of his side’s victory at The Estadio Municipal de Butarque, Real Madrid’s headmaster explained:

“Ceballos contributed a lot, and Arda contributed a lot with his creativity in the final third, and he was close to scoring goals, but he played a complete match. They are players we can trust at this moment.”
