With only a few days remaining in the transfer window, West Ham United are stepping up their efforts to bring in some quality players.
The Hammers are desperate to sign a striker amid injuries to Niclas Fullkrug and Michail Antonio.
West Ham have been linked with several top players, including Brighton & Hove Albion ace Evan Ferguson.
But they may need to sell before bringing in new recruits in order to comply with the Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).
The East Londoners recently received a €15 million bid from Shakhtar Donetsk for Luis Guilherme.
Guilherme joined the Premier League outfit in the summer from Palmeiras in a deal worth €30m.
However, the move hasn’t worked out for him as he has been limited to just six substitute appearances this season.
Guilherme’s first-team prospects at the club don’t look great, as there is plenty of competition for places.
The Brazilian mainly plays as a winger, but Jarrod Bowen, Mohammed Kudus and Crysencio Summerville are all ahead of him in the pecking order.
An exit from the London Stadium will be good for him as well as West Ham.
The 18-year-old is currently struggling for opportunities in East London. There is no point staying at a top club if you are not playing.
As for the Irons, they will be hoping to boost their spending power by selling him for a good fee.
