West Ham United welcome Newcastle United to the London Stadium in the Premier League tonight.
Monday night football brings an intriguing clash in the capital, as West Ham look to build momentum under Graham Potter. Consecutive league wins have lifted the atmosphere at West Ham, who are now 16 points clear of the relegation places. After a challenging campaign, the Hammers can now accelerate plans for next season under Potter.
West Ham are seeking a third consecutive Premier League win for the first time since December 2023 and a league double over Newcastle this season.
The visitors arrive with their ambitions of Champions League qualification still alive. A win this evening will take Newcastle level on points with Manchester City in fifth. However, the Magpies have lost three of their last four in all competitions and are without several key names.
Lucas Paqueta is set to be available for West Ham after recovering from an ankle issue. However, Graham Potter could continue with the side that has won successive league games.
Oliver Scarles will hope to retain his place at left wing-back after an impressive introduction to the side, having started the wins over Arsenal and Leicester. Elsewhere, Vladimir Coufal is back in contention, though Niclas Fullkrug, Michail Antonio and Crysencio Summerville remain in the treatment room for the East Londoners.
West Ham predicted XI: Areola; Wan-Bissaka, Todibo, Kilman, Cresswell, Scarles; Soucek, Alvarez, Ward-Prowse; Kudus, Bowen
