Arsenal have some of the fastest players in the Premier League, and the top ten fastest Gunners stars so far in 2024-25 have emerged after their stats were collated.

Declan Rice is the tenth fastest at Arsenal at 33.94km/h, while Oleksandr Zinchenko (34.20 km/h) and Riccardo Calafiori (34.56km/h) are ninth and eighth, respectively.

Surprisingly, summer loan signing Raheem Sterling is the fifth at 35.43km/h, but his fastest speed ever is 36.94km/h and he could get closer to it going forward this season given his limited playing opportunities so far.

France international centre-back William Saliba is the fourth fastest player at Arsenal at 35.56km/h, while Gabriel Martinelli’s top speed thus far is 36.03km/h, with Bukayo Saka ahead of him at 36.32km/h.

English defender Ben White has been the fastest player at the North London club since August with 36.36km/h, which would come as a surprise to many.

The 27-year-old has featured in 12 of the 17 games Arsenal have played across all competitions in 2024-25, and he has done so with an injury, which makes his top speed even more astonishing.

The versatile defender has recently undergone a knee procedure as he has been managing the knock for months, and it remains to be seen if he will be available for selection after the international break.

It has been widely reported that White could spend almost eight weeks on the sidelines, which will come as a blow for manager Mikel Arteta given his reliability and durability.

Arsenal will pray he returns sooner rather than later, and their Premier League campaign could be derailed by injuries if their ill luck on the fitness front continues.
