Allegri puts on hold Saudi offers, hopes in return to Serie A | OneFootball

Roma are once again being linked with Massimiliano Allegri who, according to rumors, is eager to get back to coaching in Italy’s top flight.

As reported today by Il Messaggero, Allegri is one of the top candidates for Roma’s bench seeing as he is Friedkin’s preferred choice to lead the team next season.

The newspaper claims that both Dan and Ryan Friedkin are very fond of Allegri.

Additionally, the newspaper suggests Allegri has put all offers from Saudi Arabia on hold as he wants to make his return to Serie A.

Milan were interested but they will not feature in next year’s Champions League and that could factor in when it comes to Allegri’s commitment to a long-term project.
