Anthony Elanga renewed acquaintances with old club Manchester United on Tuesday.

It's coming up to two years since the Sweden international traded Old Trafford for Nottingham Forest and it's fair to say that he's enjoyed a new lease of life.

But Elanga showed the Red Devils exactly what they are missing after opening the scoring at the City Ground with a sublime solo effort started inside his own half.

It was the 22-year-old's sixth Premier League goal of the campaign, marking a new personal high during his time with Nuno Espírito Santo's high-flying side.

If only for one night, United might come to rue letting him get away.
