Huge game as Gunners host French champions
Arsenal play their first home game of the Champions League campaign later this week as French giants Paris Saint-Germain roll into town.
The Gunners had David Raya to thank for his incredible double save that helped them to a 0-0 draw away at Atalanta in their opener, while PSG scraped by Girona thanks to a late own goal from former Tottenham goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga.
It is a heavyweight fixture for Mikel Arteta’s side and a win would be a statement of intent.
Arsenal vs PSG is scheduled for an 8pm kick-off time on Tuesday 1 October, 2024.
The Emirates Stadium in London will host.

Ben White will need to be assessed after he missed the dramatic win over Leicester, while Riccardo Calafiori will be checked after appearing to take a knock during that game.
Martin Odegaard, Oleksadnr Zinchenko, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Kieran Tierney are out. Mikel Merino is closing in on a return, though it remains to be seen if this game comes too early.

PSG have left Ousmane Dembele out of their squad. Lucas Hernandez, Presnel Kimpembe and Goncalo Ramos are injured, along with Gianluigi Donnarumma. Nuno Mendes will hope to return from illness.
It’s undoubtedly one of the more difficult games Arsenal have been drawn but it’s difficult to see them losing at home.
